A real mother is the most wonderful person in the world. She’s someone who loves and cares for you and tells you stories. She’s the angel voice that bids you good night, kisses your cheek, whispers, “Sleep tight.”
Of all the Tarzan films I have seen, I believe Disney’s version captures the Tarzan that Edgar Rice Burrough’s had imagined, especially with his relationship with Jane. In Tarzan of the Apes, after Tarzan leaves his jungle home and ventures through civilization to find Jane, where he is ultimately rejected by her. He does not persist to persuade her into marrying him or reveal to her that he is in fact the heir to the Greystoke title, for he knew none of these things would make Jane happy. Just as in the Disney version, he does not beg her to stay, for he only wants her happiness, even if it means letting her go.
